I've been working on some designs for a club opening soon....Im not supposed to show anything from inside until it opens, but for now, here are some images of concepts that aren't getting used.
most of this work was drawn by hand, converted to vector artwork in illustrator, the layered and composed in photshop, and finally rendered using 3DS MAX.
...enjoy...(expect actual photos in about 2 weeks when the club opens.)
also here are some digital images Ive been playing with using swift 3d:

P4 design current events
Wow, it's really turned out to be a crazy summer for freelance gigs, lots of projects under the belt, and more on the way... this update is just a taste.
Here's some pics from the opening reception at Ukula last night
(I showed "The Girl" -part of the 'sex sells' series)
-portion of the proceeds from this show will go to the children's wish foundation of Canada.
Recently I painted this canvas for a friend, Here's a progress shot and comparison (to photo reference), as well as the final piece completed:
-I'm really interested in doing portrait work, so I will welcome any offers for portrait commissions on top of my current workload
Here's a new sketch:
and here's a piece in process (started tonight, got too dark to finish -final will be on p4design.org)
coming up, I will be posting pictures of a set mural I did for Amp'd Canada" TV network, as well as a top secret project for Circa Nightclub.

Aint nuthin but Paint Huffin.. Live Body Painting
Heres some upcoming event news:
1.
This Saturday I will be painting a set of Flats for Canadian Wrestling Revolution ( a pilot being shot for Amp'd tv) at the CBC building.
Here is the conceptual drawing:
2.
Got confirmation for a live-body-painting event to be held at The Social this Thursday August 9th
3.
On August 10 I will be showing a piece in Montreal as part of the "Toronto Streets"
exhibit. this show will compliment the underpressure graffiti festival taking place August 11-13. The show will highlight the works of prolific Toronto graffiti writers' work on canvas. The show is being held at Le Kopshop
I will most likely bring this piece:
4.
On august 18th I will be showing a canvas at Ukula as part of a group show, for the month. For this event I've decided to show "the girl" since she was cut out of the exhibit at Whippersnapper for space. Theres some nice complex styles going on in this piece, which really dont show in photos, so if you're in the area, go check it out. (It WILL be for sale)
I think thats about it for now..stay tuned for pics

quickie update
just a quick update. The Sex Sells pieces are staying on exhibit at whippersnapper gallery for the rest of the month.
here's a progress shot of a new work...this is an experimental op-art piece. the colour vibrations of the red and blues make your eyes go haywire, and once the piece is done I plan on showing it with 3d glasses as part of the installation...the effect is.... intense!
I would eventually like to show a series of these op-art pieces, and make everyone at the opening wear 3d glasses all night.
