Here's a little canvas replication commission I did for a friend.
It is drawn from the famous Josephine Baker portrait by Paul Colin.
Painted with acrylic on a 12" square canvas stretched with dyed canvas. (canvas material is dyed to a colour, not the typical white that normally is available)
I really like how this turned out. the smooth sensual line-work of the illustration plays nicely with the roughish texture of this canvas treatment, and I took extra care to make the paint application as smooth as possible to look more like a print, than a painting.

Its been a busy few weeks, heres some of the projects I've been working on recently..
CiRCA asked me to design the lettering to accompany this mysterio head mural in the club.

Loblaws greatfood promotional campaign.
this was part of a supporting presentation for greatfoods, but was scrapped for time restraints allowing me to develop the invitation design above instead.
