More work ongoing Circa

So I finally got back into Circa to add more Handstyle graffiti work to the newly installed glass section dividers. These new dividers will create a bit more privacy between the sectional couches, where the bar offers bottle service to limited guests. From what i gather, since this area is basically for the dj/band entourages, it can be hard to gain access...so I guess its like exclusive and stuff, which is cool, right.?!

-Note the complete nonchalantness, as I attack these pristine glass panels with permanent ink markers in the most expensive club in Canada. Days like this are sexy.

Rise, Charity art auction. photos

Here's a bunch of photos from the Rise charity art auction last week. The event was pretty successful. I don't know if we reached the $10 G's mark we were aiming for, but almost everything got bid on. My piece finally sold for $150, after 7 individual bids. The piece was valued at $350, so someone went home with a super deal, and the money went to sketch (www.sketch.ca) which is great program I am happy to support and have worked with over the last few years on several events.

Well and Good presents: RISE

RISE is a fundraising art and music event aimed to raise ten thousand dollars for SKETCH. Many of the continent's most respected artists have donated their work to be auctioned off opening night. Music will be provided by Toronto residents DJs Dopey and Serious and by special guest DJ Platurn from Oakland, California. Admission is free, however a cash donation of your choice is recommended.

Sketch creates art making opportunities for young people who are street-involved and homeless or who are considered to be at risk. Sketch provides a safe place for these youth to create art and to learn skills such as screen print making, wood working and music production to further help them gain employment and build the confidence they need.
