CiRCA Launched thanother club theme last night, heres some coverage from the event.

Here's a little canvas replication commission I did for a friend.
It is drawn from the famous Josephine Baker portrait by Paul Colin.

Painted with acrylic on a 12" square canvas stretched with dyed canvas. (canvas material is dyed to a colour, not the typical white that normally is available)
I really like how this turned out. the smooth sensual line-work of the illustration plays nicely with the roughish texture of this canvas treatment, and I took extra care to make the paint application as smooth as possible to look more like a print, than a painting.

More work ongoing Circa

So I finally got back into Circa to add more Handstyle graffiti work to the newly installed glass section dividers. These new dividers will create a bit more privacy between the sectional couches, where the bar offers bottle service to limited guests. From what i gather, since this area is basically for the dj/band entourages, it can be hard to gain access...so I guess its like exclusive and stuff, which is cool, right.?!







and a couple of quick videos showing the beginning process of this graffiti application.
-Note the complete nonchalantness, as I attack these pristine glass panels with permanent ink markers in the most expensive club in Canada. Days like this are sexy.
